Now called The Fitness League, it is a charity which has survived seventy five years. Its creation and the strength of character needed to survive for so long is all down to its remarkable founder Mary Bagot Stack.

A Charity can raise much needed funds and awareness of its work through the publication and sales of its 'lifestory'.

Proceeds from the sales of 'In a League of Their Own' are helping the charity to raise much needed funds to help in the training of new teachers. For any charity, an account of its origins with first hand accounts of helpers and members can be both an important historical document and a valuable fund raiser.
